Big Daddy Voodoo began as a roller derby announcer in 2008, developing his presentation style live hosting hundreds of roller derby bouts across the eastern US, evolving into a professional presence in entertainment and event hosting. With a mission to energize crowds and craft unforgettable narratives, he embraces creativity, connection, expressive performance, and carries a unique horror movie host flair bridging live events and digital content.

Monster Truck Madness
Bristol Dragway needed a bombastic announcer to host Monster Truck Races before an audience of 10,000+! Great fun interacting with fans on Colossus, the massive monitor live on video!
2017-2019
Little Chicago Festival
BDV's home town of Johnson City, TN invited BDV to be primary announcer on the Main Stage and, often, all THREE stages introducing bands and live performances and contests!
2020-present
VHS Insanity! - LSAVC
It started to be a way to keep talking during COVID, but Lost State A/V Club became a wonderful showcase of 80s exploitation and horror before a live audience with a presentation by BDV before each one on the making-of and significance of even the WORST VHS feature.
